Our story

Founded in Cagliari in 2018 by Anne Coyon, Folie was born from her desire to reinvent herself after expatriating to Italy. With a sensibility for beauty, nature, and objects that tell a story, she turned to craftsmanship. Using the macramé technique she already practiced as a hobby, Anne began to imagine and create objects with minimalist and contemporary lines. To share her expertise, she also started to offer workshops.

It was during one of these workshops that she met Margherita Festa. Captivated by the world of FOLIE, this artisan with a passion for both craft and interior design decided to join forces with Anne to help the brand grow.

Today, Anne lives in Barcelona while Margherita is still in Cagliari. The adventure continues...

Our philosophy

We are artisans and designers. We design and produce our pieces in our studios in Cagliari and Barcelona.

Each of our products is handcrafted from organic or recycled cotton, using the artisanal technique of macramé. We believe in the slow pace of creation to make unique pieces that convey the love with which they are made.

We believe that conscious consumption starts with conscious production. That's why we maintain a low inventory and gladly welcome custom orders.

Where to find us ?

You can discover all of our creations at 41 Condiviso, a Creative Hub that we founded in collaboration with other artists in Cagliari, Italy. Margherita is also there two days a week, so feel free to stop by and say hello!
